Journey
Max was born on May 30th 2009 to a soccer-driven family, with both parents having played NCAA Division I soccer. He began playing at age 4 with the Bloomington Cutters local league and quickly progressed to the club’s travel team. During his time with Cutters SC, Max helped his team win the U12 Challenge Cup.
His standout performances earned him two seasons with Indiana ODP, where he was selected for the State Team, All-Star Game, Regional Pool, and ultimately the Regional Team.
In his U14 year, Max signed a part-time development deal with the Indy Eleven Pro Academy to balance academics and elite competition. That same year, he was named MVP at the Indiana University Soccer Camp while competing in an older age bracket.
By U15, Max joined Indy Eleven full-time and emerged as the leading goal scorer on the U15 squad. He also gained experience with the U16 and U19 teams, showcasing his versatility and readiness for higher levels of play.
Max participated in MLS NEXT Flex with the U16 team during his U15 season and is now a starting forward for the U16 squad. The team won the USL Academy Cup and secured qualification for the 2025 MLS NEXT Playoffs in June.
